The HURRICANE can be used for shallow stubble turning right after harvest, as well as deep penetration to break up compaction, for intensive seedbed preparation, working in, mixing of fertilizer and remaining harvest. It doesn’t matter if conventional tillage with a plough or non-turning operations follow. The HURRICANE is an extremely compact and versatile universal machine, which can be used for any size farm. It is effective on small and big acreages. To achieve best mixing, an optimum working speed between 8 and 12 kph is required. To reduce evaporation after grain harvest is one of the most important aims in tillage.
HurricaneFor shallow soil cultivation you should work deeper from time to time in order to prevent compaction in shallow depths. The narrow line spacing of the HURRICANE ensures good soil work through, combined with very good mixing by working with more tines. Due to the special shape of the tines the traction resistance of the cultivator remains. A blocking of the many tines with the 4-beam tine arrangement with wide beam spacing can be nearly excluded. A variety of trailing appliances makes the HURRICANE a universal machine. The flat-steel levelers inlay discs and star discs are offered between the last tine row and the trailing appliance. These tools are mounted on the frame of the trailing appliance. The advantage of this is that when changing the working depth you don’t need to change the setting of the levelers / discs. For rocky soil, the HURRICANE is also offered with leaf-spring tine or Non-Stop spring set. For the HURRICANE XXL the NoStop overload protection is standard. Attachable intercrop seeders can be found under "seeding technology".
