| Wing Share Cultivator TORNADO |
With shallow soil cultivation you can do without slow, cost-intensive steps such as plowing and therefore reduce costs and working time. Plowing operations take a lot of energy and cause heavy wear equipment, raising operating costs per hectare. With shallow soil cultivation the output increases and costs are reduced. In comparison to the HURRICANE the TORNADO is mainly used for stubble turning from 6 to 15 cm. Because of the lower number of shares the mixing effect is limited. On wet, sticky and heavy soil conditions the HURRICANE is a preferred alternative to the TORNADO.
Already after the pre-crop harvest the success of the succeeding cultivation is determined. The TORNADO is constructed for an intense and shallow stubble preparation after the harvest. Wide and shallow-working wing-shares cultivate the soil over the whole area and care for the desired germination of weeds, grasses and lost crop. The hollow discs, which are arranged staggered and inclined to the direction of motion, mix plant residues and soil intensively and care for an even cultivation horizon. The hollow protection discs are mounted on the arm of the trailing appliance, which has the advantage, that with a change of the cultivator working depth the discs only need to be re-adjusted in rare cases. With the different trailing appliances the desired cultivation quality can also be reached with difficult soil conditions. For rocky soils, the TORNADO can be equipped with a Non-Stop spring set. Attachable inter-crop seeders can be found under "Seeding Technology". |
