In recent years Europe crop farming has increasingly and extensively relied on stubble inversion machinery such as cultivators, rotary harrows etc.

Continuing such rationalisation measures while at the same time preventing the soil from silting up, eroding and compacting as well as keeping the cost for fallow area farming as low as possible, will make the use of intercrop seeders indispensable for working the soil in a minimal way.

The DRILLBOX or MECHANICBOX can be mounted on a number of machines up to a working width of 3 m. The adjustable feeding wheel system allows you to drill all types of intercrop seeds starting at four kilograms per hectare. A stirring shaft for seed mixtures (standard on the MECHANICBOX) is also available.

The specially designed distribution plates and the optimal spacing of the feed mechanism evenly distributes the seed. High gusset plates on the inside of the hopper keep the seeds from rolling about even on sloping terrain and warrant exact seeding.

The MECHANICBOX shall be used with slow wording implements (subsoiler, rotary harrow,...) and low mounting height, respectively low height of fall. The DRILLBOX can be used with bigger working speed (cultivator, disc harrow,...) and from approx. 70 cm mounting height.
