Pneumatic Airseeder P-BOX SPEED PDF Print

Based on the PNEUMATICBOX the P-BOX SPEED differs only in the way of driving the seeding roller. On the PNEUMATICBOX the seeding roller is driven through a stepless oilgearbox by a rubber- or a tail-wheel via the soil, on the P-BOX SPEED the seeding roller is driven by an electric motor. The electronically controlled electrig motor always turns in the speed adjusted by you.

The P-BOX SPEED is especially suitable for machines, where it is difficult to mount a bottom drive lite it is required by the PNEUMATICBOX.

The 300 l seed tank can upon special order also have a volume of 410 or 660 litres. A stirring shaft prevents the de-mixing as well as the bridge building in the tank.

The seeding roller, driven by an electric motor, brings the seeds in the air canal, where it is, depending on the size of the machine with help of the air amount of an electrical, cardan shaft driven or hydraulically driven fan through plastic hoses, brought to the distribution plates. The especially formed deflector plates guarantee also with wind an exact distribution of the seeds.

The P-BOX SPEED is ideal for the following usage possibilities:
Inter-crop seeding: to prevent azote from being washed out the inter-crop seeding in tillage is getting more and more important and is obligatory in water-protection areas. The seeding of inter-crops should be done immediately after working the soil in order to utilise the humidity in the soil.

Undersowing of grass or clover in existing grassland: due to weather conditions or mistakes in cultivation the balance in the grassland can be disturbed. The non-turning improvement of grassland provides excellent ways to improve the situation.

Sowing of clover or clover/grass into grain: After one or two combing passes, the oversowing of clover is possible in the 3 to 4 leaf stage. During autumn and winter, before ploughing for the summer grain, a successful establishment of clover in grain can contribute as much as 100 kg of nitrogen. Green fields following grain harvests are considered very beneficial ecologically due to the good nitrogen balance they provide.

Sowing grass in maize: After a round of hoeing  at a plant-height of 20 - 30 cm, oversowing the grass can begin. From an efficient oversowing in maize you can expect a number of advantages:
- Better carrying capacity of the soil during the harvest and during fertilising
- Suppression of any germinating weeds
- Bonding of nitrogen in autumn - after the maize harvest it provides a sensible way of utilizing manure
- Improvement of the soil fertility
- Lower amount of herbicides necessary
